Return Policy:

At PureWine, we want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, we want to make it right.

If you purchased or received a PureWine product and would like to return it, we will issue you a refund if the product is returned within 60 days of order placement. Please return any unused products in their original packaging, including any unused Wands. The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.

To initiate a return, please email service@drinkpurewine.com. After 60 days from the order placement, returns will not be accepted for any reason other than manufacturing defects. PureWine offers a 1-year replacement period for items with manufacturing defects. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

The mission of PureWine is to end the 9,000-year-old problem of wine allergies and to enable more people to enjoy the unique pleasures and health benefits of wine.

PureWine Inc. is a privately held company founded in 2014 by a Texas father and son team, Dr. David Meadows and his son Derek. Both father and son suffered from wine headaches and experienced allergic reactions to red, white, rosé and sparkling wines.

But, like true scientists, they didn’t suffer in silence — they set out to understand the problem and to solve it.

Together, father and son spent multiple years in the laboratory looking for a solution to the side effects of wine. The ‘Eureka moment’ came one day in the lab when David and Derek found the precise means to selectively remove histamines and sulfites - the culprits behind those unwanted side effects - without otherwise changing the chemistry of wine.

“We could see that our filtration was working, but when we tried that big, bold Cab and it was every bit as delicious as it was in the tasting room in Napa, we knew we had a product that could bring the joy and health benefits of wine to millions of people.,” says David.

“That’s when we toasted each other – To Your Health! – and that’s our motto today at PureWine,” adds Derek.

In 2016, the duo launched the first PureWine product, The Wand™, for a glass of wine. Most recently, PureWine unveiled its first reusable wine purifier, The Phoenix. Since then, more than 25-million PureWine purifiers have been sold, helping millions of people to enjoy the proven health benefits of wine without suffering from the side effects.
